Poha Part 1

 

Poha is the famous cuisines of the Indian states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. This is one of its ways of poha which contains potato, onions, soya chunks. green peas.
This one is too much spicy and yummy. One may complement it with curd.

Items required (1 serving):

2 Potatoes

1 Onion

Soya chunks-1 cup

Green peas – 1/2 cup

4 green chillis

garlic cloves-5 (chopped)

Spices: 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, 1/2 tbsp garam masala

Preparation:

Bring the cooking pot to heat. Put some vegetable oil. Now add garlic. Make it golden brown. Add onions. Saute it till golden brown. Now add all veggies. Add all the spices. Include some water. Cover the pot with lid for 15 minutes. Now take poha and dip it with water for 1 minute. Remove water and add it to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes and its ready!
